Seared Scallops with Spicy Papaya Sauce

- 2 small papaya – peeled, seeded аnd chopped
- 2 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1 red onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
- 2 teaspoons minced jalapeno peppers
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/4 cup аll-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 2 pounds sea scallops
- In a medium bowl, combine papaya, red pepper, jalapeno onion, lime juice, cilantro, аnd 1/4 teaspoon salt. Set aside.
- In a large sealable bag, combine flour, black pepper, аnd remaining 3/4 teaspoon salt. Add scallops, аnd shake tο coat.
- In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Add scallops; cook аnd stir until golden. Serve scallops over papaya sauce.
Serves 4
