I ordered hazelnut, vanilla and original. Both the flavored coffees (hazelnut and vanilla) had a strange sour tangy taste that I couldn’t stand. Even with milk and sugar, still couldn’t drink it. Not sure if I got a bad batch or if it is the flavorings used. The original java juice was good and did not have the strange sour tangy taste so I might recommend trying the original flavor.

I love the single-serve packets of the original coffee, but the flavored varieties are oddly tangy or sour. Not bitter or strong but an almost lemon juice like sourness.
I’ll stick with the original, but won’t buy the flavored varieties again

As a starving medical student, Java Juice is the perfect coffee. With little time and always being on my feet it’s just the kick I need to keep up on all my patients. Every student’s nightmare is the dreaded coffee in the hospital lounge that looks like it belongs in a car engine. I can pack it up and take it anywhere my patients need me. It also saves me money, which no medical student has. I recommend putting it in a protein shake for that extra boost during your workouts. It’s the best investment I made, especially in this economy.
